Holston River Trout & Smallmouth Fly Fishing

The Holston River starts in Virginia flowing southwest for 274 miles until it meets the French Broad here in Knoxville TN to form the Tennessee River. The 52 mile stretch of the Holston River from Cherokee Dam to the confluence is one of our main fisheries for both trout and smallmouth bass. This river is home to healthy populations of Rainbow and Brown a trout as well as Smallmouth bass. We float the Holston river in drift boats or rafts (depending on water levels) for optimal chances at fish and an overall quality experience. Peak season for trout is spring with Summer being our smallmouth season.

French Board River Fly Fishing Tour

The French Broad River starts in North Carolina and flows southwest 218 miles until it meets with the Holston River here in Knoxville TN and forms the Tennessee River. The 32 mile stretch from Douglas Dam to the Tennessee River is one of our Smallmouth Bass fisheries that we float with drift boats. Floating this river offers the best overall experience while covering water efficiently. The river is very scenic from top to bottom with farmland and wildlife along the way. While the French Broad offers exceptional views it's main attraction is its fishing opportunities for quality Smallmouth Bass. The seasons for the Smallmouth are spring, summer and fall.

Clinch River Fly Fishing

The Clinch River starts in Virginia flowing southwest for over 300 miles until it reaches the Tennessee river in Kingston TN. We float the 13 mile stretch below Norris Dam which is a cold water trout fishery holding Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout. The Clinch river is our year round destination to float (in drift boats) for trout with peak seasons being spring, fall and winter. The Clinch overall is a gem here in the South East with very scenic views and chances for quality fish.

Little River Fly Fishing

The Little River starts in Sevier county TN inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and flows 59 miles where it meets the Tennessee River in Knox County (flowing right through our home town). This river offers a very unique experience given the right conditions for trout and smallmouth bass. The land rights on the river are strict and access is limited so wading it is not an option, however floating it on the right flow can make for a very scenic and fun trip. Seasons are Winter and Spring for trout and summer for smallmouth.
